“If we weren’t meant to fly, God would’ve never given us the birds for inspiration. We have been inspired by nature through many of humanities endeavors. When there were vast distances to be covered we walked, rode horses, drew buggies, and made the automobile. When we saw the oceans we swam, floated logs, molded wood and steel into ships to cross unknown waters. Often we did these without any knowledge as to our destination or where we would end up. However, aviation arguably has always had the clearest destination…up. We can see past our moon to distant stars, planets, and galaxies. Human curiosity has been awestruck by their presence in our night sky for thousands of years. We, as the modern people with the opportunity to realize the potential to fly, owe it to the wonderers before us to experience this vast expanse. We owe it to ourselves and it all starts with getting in the cockpit. ”
